I used to always jam-pack my personal travel itineraries. Like most Americans, I was trying to hit the top tourist sites and “see it all” in a week. Living in South America and traveling the world, I observed other travelers doing it differently. Intentionally choosing their activities, or just doing less. Leaving room for spontaneity and local recommendations along the way. And, upon reflection, my favorite travel memories were created from that type of space.
It doesn’t matter what your intention is — it matters that it is yours, not the latest and hottest on Instagram. Here at Travel Tranqui, we start with what you care about, what you’re looking for in this season of life — to veg out? to trek into the forest without reception? to study cultural influences? — and carefully craft your itinerary from there.
